Our door handle broke recently so we had to get a new one.

We changed it already so its all good.

But this was a conversation my parents ACTUALLY HAD!

Today's is very short but mostly because I'm having trouble connecting this part to the next. I have an idea of where I'm going next but not exactly how I'll get there...

It's parts like these that will be heavily edited when writing a full novel-length story, I figure...

I'm particularly happy with this one. It came out a lot better than I had hoped.

The inspiration came as a bit of "The Shawshank Redemption" and the short film "Life"

Summer Time

This happens every summer. It's starting to get annoying.

I think this scene, with some tweaking and light editing could be a VERY powerful scene in this story.

I really enjoyed this section and can't wait to revisit.

Shannon's missing!

Sorry guys! There's no writing blog today because the file I use to work on Shannon's story has gone missing.

I'm not sure what happened to it but it appears to have been deleted from my desk top. I can only guess I was deleting a lot of files I didn't need and she got caught in the cross fire and went to the trash with them.

THANKFULLY I have a blog. And that blog has a backup of everything on it! In the form of blog entries...

So in lieu of writing the next part I'll be spending today surfing my blog and pulling up each entry so I can re-create the lost work. If I manage to finish and have enough time to write a new section I'll either post it today or as an extra post tomorrow.

A few people have told me they can't read the text cause I write so small (and sloppily). Except the people I know who have a mac or iPhone, cause those allow you to magnify the image and make it readable....

If you don't want to go through the effort, for the most part you aren't missing anything....

It's hard to believe that there's just 5 and a half months left before this blog reaches its goal.

I've been wondering what I'll do after that. The blog has become such a huge part of my life and I want to continue it, but I know I can't continue it to the same capacity. I wonder....

I had fun writing this one. It's nice to be able to sit and write a short story again and not have to think too hard about it. Reminds me of when I started this blog.

The Cafe

I had an idea for a comic. It's about a place, not the people in it. It's a cafe where people go and talk and in general have a good time. It'd be more philosophical in nature but maintain some comedy. The people would rotate through. Sometimes you'll never see a character again. Sometimes you'll see them a lot.

Anyway. Here's the first test of it.
