Ah Christmas. I love it.
I do everything in my power to make it the best time of the year for me. I look forward to it so much. So many people and things try to ruin it (like work and debt) but I don't let it get me down! Not in December I don't!
Twinkling lights and happy songs,
Old friends back in town from school or work,
Towns wrapped in greenery, excitement raised.
Christmas is coming.
Chilling nights when you can see your breathe,
Snow gently drifts across the sky,
Ambient lighting is just better.
Christmas is coming.
Hours searching for that perfect gift,
Love wrapped in colourful paper,
With exquisite ribbon on top.
Christmas is coming.
Warms drinks by the tree,
Everyone laughing and sharing stories,
I love this time of year.
