Thank god today is poetry (SLAM) Mondays! I have almost no time on my hands right now!

Here's all I can muster!

And today I just want to do a limerick, so deal with it!

I really need to get up earlier. I've spent most of my day asleep or having fun instead of writing like I planned. The clear answer is, get up earlier!

Anyways, here's the next short story for Short Story Saturdays! I'm not sure what to make of it....

Free Verse Fridays!

I feel like this one is a little schizophrenic, it doesn't quite know the tone its going for.

I also keep spelling Quite and Quiet inversely. It's kind of annoying.

Oh how long will this story be? I don't have any clue. I have some ideas. I might keep writing it until I feel that its long enough. Maybe after I'll have the first draft of a novel?

Comic Hump Days!

Today's comic is brought to you by a walk I took.

I like to go walking from time to time (even if I walk to and from work every day). Its nice to get out and see the world, smell fresh air (as fresh as it gets around here anyways), something about it is all just so, zen.

Way back when I started this blog I didn't know about Short Story Ideas.com and I was forced to come up with my own stories. It gave me some disasters and some gems, like the one about Jacob the Hipster.

I love that Free Verse Fridays is somewhat alliterative. I wanted to make alliterative titles for every day of the week but it just didn't work out that way.

I actually kind of like it so far. It keeps me on top of things. I always know what I'm doing and I can think about what I have to do ahead of time and keep things ready.

Comic Hump Day!

Today is Wednesday! So its Comic Hump day!

I went to the Mayan exhibit at the ROM recently. It was really fascinating. If you haven't seen it yet I suggest seeing it IMMEDIATELY! It leaves the ROM on April 9th. If you don't live on Ontario, well, I hope you haven't missed your chance to see it. I highly recommend it. Especially if you're into ancient civilizations and the such.

Thank GOD yesterday was Wild Card Sunday cause I don't know how I would've come up with an April Fools gag if it was a continuing story!

Anyways! April has kicked off our April Schedule! Today is Monday and Monday is Poetry Slam Monday! The beautiful thing about Poetry Slam Monday is it can be any KIND of poetry! Haiku, Limerick, Free Verse, Sonnet, WHATEVER! I'm going to try and stick away from Free Verse since Friday is Free Verse Friday.
