Thank GOD yesterday was Wild Card Sunday cause I don't know how I would've come up with an April Fools gag if it was a continuing story!
Anyways! April has kicked off our April Schedule! Today is Monday and Monday is Poetry Slam Monday! The beautiful thing about Poetry Slam Monday is it can be any KIND of poetry! Haiku, Limerick, Free Verse, Sonnet, WHATEVER! I'm going to try and stick away from Free Verse since Friday is Free Verse Friday.
Anyways! Lets see what the first Poetry Slam Monday comes up with!
Cell Phones Off
To kick off tonight
With our open mic
We have poets who rhyme with ease!
From all the worlds corners
The funniest foreigners
Your amusement they aim to appease!
Have yourself a laugh
Enjoy the first half
Then we'll take a break from all these!
So grab a quick snack
There's drinks at the back
And turn off your cell phones please!
