So I'm feeling a bit on the lazy side right now, so here's something to make you feel lazy too.


The Office Trip


Reggie wasn't the type to be easily embarrassed or even to feel self conscious. He often just did things without thinking, which was actually the reason he felt so self conscious now. Perhaps this wasn't such a good idea.

Everyone in the office turned and stared as Reggie walked through the quiet cubicles. His padded feet made almost no noise as he walked along the ground trying to not stand out. It wasn't very easy.

He turned the corner of a cubicle and looked in. The two cubicle mates were staring at him. Reggie nervously walked a wide circle around the cubicle and out of eyesight of the two.

Reggie could feel everyone's eyes on him. He looked back to see half the office following him, not sure of what to do. He put his head down and kept moving forward.

The office was silent except for the footsteps of the people following Reggie. No one was typing, no one was on the phone, no one was working. Everyone was fixated on Reggie.

"There you are Reggie!" came the familiar voice of Cassie. She rounded the corner and picked up Reggie. Reggie sniffed her face and let his tail twitch slightly before he began to purr happily. "We have to go to your vets appointment!"

Cassie looked up to see everyone staring at her cat. "Oh, sorry! I didn't mean to disturb anyone." and with that Cassie and Reggie left.

Everyone in the office just stood still for a while before turning and going back to their work as if nothing had happened.
