Free Verse Friday!
I'm sure I've mentioned before how I feel that my free verse poetry should be deep and insightful, though sometimes its just silly and comical.
I think those are the 2 sides of my coin. 1 side is very serious and deeply engaging and thought provoking.
The other side just wants to have fun and make you laugh!
There are so many things that I want to do and see.
And its hard to decide what I will regret and won't.
Some are expensive
(like traveling the world)
And some don't cost a thing
(like love)
Some are ambitious!
(like writing a broadway musical)
And some are simple
(like living in a 1 bedroom apartment)
And although I feel times noose
Slowly (but surely) tightening around my neck
I have to remind myself
"I'm still young!"
"I still have years of life ahead of me!"
So live your dreams
Because tomorrow you may regret not living in today!
I have two passions, Art, and Writing! This is the writing side of my passion.
