Phoning it in

I'm phoning it in today. I had a bigger plan but I slept too late today to get started on it. I think I'll save it for Saturday or Sunday, some day that I have off and can sit in front of my computer for hours on end to write. Enjoy a limerick I wrote about it!

Before I went to bed last night I had a plan
But because I have a short attention span
I stayed up too late
And slept in on this date
And now I can't write about The Pale Man
