Short free verse.
I'm colour blind (not completely free of seeing colour) and I sometimes wonder what it would be like to see the world in black and white.
Soaking wet and miserable.
A great way to start the day.
Instead let's imagine
A world devoid of colour.
Like a black and white movie,
Just shades of grey.
How different it would be.
Would smells smell sweeter?
Would silk feel smother?
Or does it all turn to dust
And grain?
Fall would be incredibly unremarkable.
