A free verse Friday is one of my favorite days. It's so freeing!
I've always had an affinity for free verse, even when I was little.
It might have something to do with my inability to rhyme without assitance.
I know it's it a bit early for Christmas theme'd stuff, but, it's my favorite time of the year, so NYA!
Season's Greetings!
Season's greetings to my friends and family!
The snow will be falling soon.
Yearly traditions will bring us together soon;
Watching old christmas specials,
Listening to cheerful music,
Laughing and telling stories!
(I especially like that last part)
We'll watch the sea of twinkling lights,
Reflected off the trinkets and baubles we hang,
As it bends and wraps around our tree,
And finally coming to a stop at a mountain of presents
All more brilliantly wrapped than the last!
The world will be cold but beautiful.
Snow flakes falling gently in the winter night.
I look forward to the long romantic walks,
If only they weren't alone.
I guess I'll just hang the mistletoe
And keep waiting.
