Poems are hard to write when you're feeling neutral.


"Getting what you want is easy!"
All the books and self help guides say
And all the so called "Life Coaches" preach
"Getting your act right!"
Opportunity doesn't make itself.
You have to go out and find it!
Networking makes the world go 'round!
So stop stalling and start talking!
"But what if I can't?
What if I'm afraid of what I'll say?
So much so the very thought
Of saying something STUPID
Has me crippled with fear?"

I'm feeling a bit vulnerable right now....
