Murder Mystery Part 8-2

This is the second half of yesterdays entry. I've been a bit busy during the day the last few days so I haven't had enough time to hash out the story as nicely as I'd like. Anyways, the answers keep rolling in followed by even more mysteries!

Avery sat across from Adam with his notepad open ready to write. Adam sat on the edge of the bed. "Kim and I were never a couple. She would just pretend she was so people wouldn't, ya know, look at me funny."

"Did she have any enemies?"

"Not many. Everyone I knew loved her. She just had this way of making people love her."

"And yet you two managed to have a fight."

"She was angry because I wanted to wear her favorite dress." Adam blushed. "I sometimes wear a dress. To meet guys."

"And that's how you met Paul?"

"Yes." Adam looked away.

"So you can't think of any reason why someone might want her killed?"

"No." Adam started to cry. Avery flipped his book closed. He wasn't good at dealing with emotional situations. He stood up, looked around and patted Adam lightly on the shoulder.

"It'll be, ok."

"Thank you" Adam sobbed. "I just wish, if I had known..."

"You can't think like that. It'll drive you mad."

"Promise me you'll find her killer." Adam pleaded, his eyes filled with tears.

"I promise." Avery nodded to Adam as he walked out of the morose room.
