Murder Mystery Part 8

This is more of a supplemental to yesterday's entry. I need some time to square away loose ends. Avery needs more loose ends to chase...

"Mr. Conway." Avery approached Adam. "I'd like to speak with you privately. There's still a few things I need to close this part of the investigation."

"Yes, of course. I'll wait in my room." Adam turned and left.

"Never expected that, huh?" Daniel Watson chimed.

"I had a feeling it was something like that." Avery folded his arms across his chest and started to think of what his next action was. With Adam's alibi confirmed by Paul, and Glen Endritch dead, Avery was still very much in the dark. "Did you find anything interesting in Room 17?"

"Nothing I'm afraid. If there was a camera, some ones taken it." Daniel recited sadly. "I have to head back to the precinct. If I find any information I'll let you know."

"Thanks, Daniel."

Avery went through the case in his head. Kimberly Douglas came here with Adam. They fought and she left the room. She was murdered sometime before 1 AM, multiple stab wounds. Her body was then dumbed in the ocean and discovered by Ivan the groundskeeper at around 3 AM. Glen Endritch apparently saw and worked for the killer. He was shot when he tried to turn in photographic evidence of the Douglas murder.

"Perhaps I should be looking for the murder weapons." Avery mused to himself. He turned to Pauline who was still sitting at the hotel desk. "Has there been reports of any missing knives from the kitchen?"

"No sir, none."

"Of course not, that would've been too easy." Avery frowned. This wasn't going to be an open shut case like he had hoped. He needed a lead of some sort. Avery headed to Suite 21 in hopes that Adam would have some more information.
