Free Verseing It!

I wrote a free verse poem at work on Wednesday. But that's not what you're going to read!

I wrote this one just now... And by just now I mean after I ate breakfast and made myself a cup of tea.

I find a lot of people tend to try and force me into situations I don't want to be in (for now).
I almost never title my work, but this time I did.



They say

They say "You're looking for love in all the wrong places!"
But I'm not looking for love at all.
They say "Just follow the signs!"
But I'm not lost or looking for directions.
They say "There's plenty of fish in the sea!"
But I'm not a fisherman.
They say "You're a great catch!"
But I'm not a prize.

They never say "You seem content to be alone."
But I'm not alone.
