Protest

I'm not in the mood to write. I'm actually a little bit angry about the state of the world right now. There's a lot of things going on that bother me and I feel mostly powerless to do anything.

It's not just what's going on though, its the people's willingness to accept it without question. How can so many people support such blatant hypocrisy and oppression?

I want to elaborate but this isn't a blog about politics or anything like that. It's a blog about writing. But if you're really interested google whats going on with the protests in Quebec and how they're being dealt with.


If the world were a better place;
There'd be no need for protests.

If the world were a better place;
Everyone would be accepted.

If the world were a better place;
We'd all live however we please.

If the world were a better place.

But instead we say;
"Why not me?"
When others ask for their fair share.

But instead we say;
"He's a hero!"
When crowning our oppressors.

But instead we say;
"It'll get better."
When we know it damn well won't.
