Sonnet Attempt

Today is Poetry Monday. I usually write a limerick or some rhyming couplet or something. Something I've actually never tried to write was a sonnet.

So....

I did some research and learned somethings about sonnets. Now, this is just my first attempt. It's written in Italian Sonnet octave but with none of the sestet. I just can't wrap my head around that. One day...


There are many shows that I adore,
A lot of them are children's shows.
I feel no shame for what I disclose,
In a longer day I would watch more.
For cartoons, in general, I'm a whore,
I find they have less cons and more pros.
Whenever I watch and child-like innocence 'rose.
I find most television shows today a bore.
