Now that I've written a few sonnets I'm not afraid to write them anymore. I'm still not amazing at them but still, I feel like they're not as terrifying as they were!

I noticed most of my short stories are written in third person. In fact I thought all of them were but I went back and re-read a few and realized some of my favorites were actually written in first person.

It actually takes a lot of work to co-ordinate school schedules. Also a lot of hard work to remember what my life was like in high school and what courses I took.

Double Dip that Chit!

The double dip.

It's something we're often told to not do.

But I'm going to throw out that conventional wisdom, and give you a double dose today!

That's right dear reader(s)! For this month I'm gonna try something new. September Sundays will be Double Dip Days!

You get two updates! Two separate things to read! So enjoy the second update today!

Shannon Extra bit...

Today is kind of a weak setup to some of the more important parts yet to come in Shannon's story.

Whenever I write something I'm not entirely happy with I remember 2 things.

1) Nothing is edited on here. It's all as it came to me. If I took the time to edit and fix the problems and plot holes and story devices so they're seamlessly integrated into the stories, everything would be 100x better.

2) The point of the blog is to JUST WRITE. It's mostly an exercise in accomplishing what I set out to do.

With Shannon in particular I want to prove to myself that I can write something novel length. After I finish writing it I do want to go back, edit, and fix up anything that didn't sit well with me.
