Double Dip Shannon!

A small Shannon supplemental for the Double Dip!





At first Shannon wanted to hurt Jasmine for saying such a thing. Then she wanted to hurt Cassie for stealing Jeremy. Later still she wanted to hurt Jeremy for going out with someone as vile as Cassie.

Shannon decided the only way to come to terms with this was to confront Jeremy. She spent her lunch hour and the time between classes hunting down Jeremy's locker and waited there at the end of the day.

As the students rushed around the school eager to get home Shannon leaned against the uncomfortable metal door that was Jeremy's locker. Jeremy, Carl and a few other guys came around the corner. Shannon felt her blood boil. She wanted to tear into him.

"Hey Shannon!" Jeremy called as he walked up. "Waiting for me."

"Yeah, actually." Shannon felt her nerves fade quickly. "I didn't hear from you all summer. I just wanted to know what's up."

"Yeah I was crazy busy all summer." Jeremy said smiling.

"Yeah, crazy busy getting it on with Cassie!" Carl loudly proclaimed giving a few of the others high fives. Jeremy just looked away.

"Oh yes, I heard about that." Shannon said cooly.

"Yeah." Jeremy said averting his gaze. They stood there silently for a moment. Carl the others seemed oblivious to the awkward atmosphere. Shannon just stood resolutely waiting to hear Jeremy's explanation.

"Can I get to my locker now?" Jeremy finally asked.

"K." Shannon walked away. "It was good to see you again, Carl." Shannon said as she walked by.

"Tell Amanda I said hi!" Carl called out.

Jeremy just opened his locker and took out his bag.

Shannon didn't want to hurt Jeremy anymore. In fact she didn't want to hurt anyone anymore. Now she was just disappointed that she had fooled herself into thinking her and Jeremy might have had a chance at being together.
